

Eduard TINCU was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a loyal friend, a caring mentor, and someone very special. To family and friends who knew him best, Eduard will be remembered as a very exceptional person of great character.
He was the son of Lidia Ionescu Tincu and Laurentiu Tincu.
As a young boy, Eduard had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing with deep joy and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. In his spare time he liked computers, skiing, tennis, and swimming. However, to Eduard, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.
A typical teenager, Eduard had a happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Gheorghe Lazar High School in Bucharest, Romania in 1996. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. During this time, Eduard created lifelong friendships that he cherished with all his heart.
Eduard enjoyed his college years in sunny San Diego, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Eduard was able to manage the balancing act. He earned his Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude in Information and Decision Systems from San Diego State University. He also pursued graduate school, earning his Masters MSBA in Information and Decision Systems/IS Security from San Diego State University.
Fortunately, Eduard truly enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Eduard worked diligently and did his very best to succeed in his career. He was a dedicated Infrastructure Analyst at ViaSat Inc. for 7 years. He was also a Lecturer at San Diego State University for 4 years. Eduard always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Eduard enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were reading, studying, Sci-Fi, video games, skiing, sailing, swimming, tennis. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also eager to share his interests with others.
Throughout his life, Eduard was a doer and was always actively involved in professional and community organizations. Throughout his adulthood years, Eduard was an active and proud member of the Masonic Lodge of San Diego.
Eduard enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for him to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included places such as Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand etc.
Eduard married Luiza, the love of his life, on October 30, 2021 in beautiful Dana Point, CA overlooking the ocean. The love story between Eduard and Luiza was absolutely wonderful, like a match made in heaven, a magical fairytale that ended too soon.
Eduard passed away unexpectedly and tragically on May 16, 2022 due to a sudden cardiac attack. He is survived by his wife Luiza and parents Lidia & Laurentiu. Eduard is laid to rest in the Garden of Love at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego, CA.
Simply stated, Eduard was a kind, affectionate, bright, cheerful, and gentle person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being someone who was a vital part of their lives. Eduard leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Eduard TINCU.
