Born in Toishan, Guangdong, China, on February 8th, 1927, Edward lived a full and meaningful
life defined by his dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and his enduring spirit. Over his 99
years, he witnessed a changing world (the Great Depression, WWII, and the Korean War), and
built a legacy rooted in hard work, resilience, and a deep love for those around him.
He is survived by his four children (Howard, Sue, Athalean, and Susan), four grandchildren
(Steven, Parker, Sienna & Peyton), and two great-grandchildren (Lincoln & Cooper); as well as
many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
A traditional Cantonese funeral service to honor his life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday,
September 25th, 2026. It is located at El Camino Memorial Park, Onsite Chapel, 5600 Carroll
Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121.
