Passed away peacefully in San Diego, CA at 93. Beloved wife of Robert D. Purcell (deceased), and mother of twelve children, Michael (deceased), Peter, David, Bill (deceased), Beth, Kim, Kevin, Jane, Steve, Susie, Chris and Tina, grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 17. Edyth was born & lived in Larchmont, NY, where she also raised her family. She retired with her husband to Florida prior to moving to San Diego. Edyth was adored by her family and nothing gave her as much joy as family gatherings. She was an elegant and loving person with a practical approach to life. Edyth will be missed greatly & leaves behind a devoted family and strong legacy. Memorial service to be held at St. Augustine’s Church In Larchmont, NY on 09/19/15 @ 10:00 a.m.
