Beth passed away peacefully in her home at Ivy Park La Jolla, beside her beloved husband of 65 years, Harvey. Along with Harvey, Beth is survived by her daughter Sandy, her son Billy and her cherished grandchildren.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Beth always held a deep appreciation for her Southern roots. As a teenager, her family relocated to Scarsdale, New York, where she met Harvey at Scarsdale High School when she was just 15 years old. Beth later attended Elmira College before convincing her Daddy to let her marry Harvey and move to California, where she happily spent the rest of her life.
Beth worked as a Certified Financial Planner, first on her own, and then in practice with Harvey. Together they took pride in helping families and small businesses secure brighter futures. Beth was also a crafter, gardener, tennis player, golfer, knitter, reader, volunteer, world traveler, hostess extraordinaire, mother & grandmother.
Described by all who knew her as “larger than life,” Beth lit up every room she entered and truly cherished each and every one of her 10,000 friends. Thoughtful, generous and exuberant, she loved life and she lived it fully each and every day. She will be deeply missed.
Mom asked that we delay services until my dad passes so that they can be celebrated and laid to rest together....so fitting. When the time comes, they will be reunited at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, CA. If you would like to make a donation in my mother's honor, please consider For The Troops, an organization she dearly loved and volunteered with alongside my dad. https://www.forthetroops.org/
