Esco Carson was a kind man, a godly man, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He lived a long and full life of 89 years. Esco was a true testament of courage and strength. He lost his only daughter, a grandson, a great grandson and the love of his life for over 65 years, Lavina Carson. He worked at The Grossmont School District for over 30 years as a groundskeeper, where he rode a lawnmower. He swore it was the best job a fellow could have. His ancestry dates back to Kit Carson and Doc Holliday and the infamous shootout at the O.K. Corral. He proudly served 8 years in the Navy, fighting in the Korean War. His mere presence could light up a room. He was one of the greatest men we will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Rest in Paradise Esco M. Carson.
