I am Esperanza‘s granddaughter Serena Elizabeth Megow I want to share what a wonderful grandma I had in my life she was like a second mother to me always took care of me whenever I needed a hug I needed a kiss I needed some advice she was always there there was not a time that when I picked up the phone to call her she would always be on the other side waiting to answer all my questions and all the things that I needed to hear from her to help me get through my life she was amazing grandma she always knew what to say when there was a problem that I had I could always talk to her and she would always solve it if there was something I needed some money or I needed something to eat or I just wanted to talk I would always stop by at the house and visit with her she would always love that she loved me very much and I know that she always took her time to listen she also had give me advice that sometimes I didn’t want to listen but in the long run I always listen to what she had to say sometimes I would think she wasn’t right and what she says but yes she was always said if you have a dollar in your pocket it was your best friend because you would never do anything bad to you it would always give you a surprise . Also if I needed to find my mother I would always know who to call that would  be my grandma because she would always know where my mother was that was the very special thing that I had with her she always knew where every child of hers was everybody would always call her and tell her where they were going and grandma always knew where they were to tell me also some nights I would call her on the phone to tell that Jeopardy was on she loved Jeopardy that was her favorite show we all loved it was so fun to answer those questions that were said sometimes I would get it right sometimes Other. Times I would not She always liked  Alex Trebek he was her favorite on TV she was so sad when he died love you grandma I’ll always have you in my heart forever your granddaught



Esperanza always had a loving smile and a big hug for me.  Art and family were so fortunate to have as wonderful of a mother that could ever be wished for. I always looked forward to visiting her and she always had something scrumptious to offer. I’ve never found a match to her Pozole! I hope to see her big smile and get a big hug from her as she sits me down for a big bowl in heaven.

Esperanza was my great aunt . . . married to the brother of my grandfather. She was Tia! 

Tia was fantastic. It's only been in recent years that I have come to know my Glass family in California. I went down to Esperanza's home in San Diego several times, and chatted with her about life, about Mexico, about all kinds of stuff. She was great. Flat-out great. She laughed and chatted, and was extremely curious about me and my growing up in the deep South.    

I could have tried a lot harder over the years to get to know aunt Esperanza, and I'll always regret that.  She was a sweet woman! We love you, Tia, and we know that you are now at complete peace.

"Ma" as I knew her will be truly missed. She was a wonderful lady with a warm and wonderful smile and kind demeanor. 
I will miss that beautiful lady.

words are not enough. What a wonderful and fantastic Mother. One of a kind. She had a love 💘 for her flowers and the flowers 💐 knew that. She always bounced back when she was sick or in the hospital. We will always ❤ love her  and miss her.
