She married her childhood sweetheart Jesús Reyes, known to his family as “Chuy” in 1947, and they were married for 46 years, until Chuy’s death in 1993. Together they had three children: Eduardo, Martha, and Lorena; three grandchildren: Eddie, Michelle, and Deric; and two great-grandchildren: Alex, and Caleb.
Tita loved taking care of her family, especially cooking for them. She also loved the ocean, animals, music, and singing which she often did with her family and friends. Sitting outside in the rose garden enjoying “el solecito”, which in Spanish means “the sunshine”, was the joy of her day. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
A memorial service celebrating her life is scheduled for 1:00 pm on April 26th at El Camino Memorial, Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121
