I recently learned of Skip's death from his wonderful sister Christine, who currently resides with her husband (Robert) in EG. Skip and his family remain friends for life. I was extremely fortunate to be able to stay most of my senior year (1966) with his family while mine had moved to Oklahoma during the summer. I am forever indebted to the Forsht family for their kindness and generosity extended to me during that short period of time. Skip and I became very close - we were like brothers, I know my life was undoubtedly changed for the better by being able to stay in Rhode Island that critical year. I'm thankful for having the privilege of knowing Skip and family, and will miss his kindness and great sense of humor.

May you forever rest in peace and be comforted by the grace of God.

Skip and I were together in the early 80s, when we met at the Schick Center. So many special memories of working together and being together. The 10K runs, Thanksgiving dinner with our families, the dogs, fixing up our houses, beach walks, gardening, etc. I will always remember his sense of humor, his laughter, his unconditional love and what a great person he was. My mother adored him, and he treated her so kindly. His passing was such a shock as I had just seen him recently. I will miss him so much. Our friendship continued for 40 years, and I treasure every moment of it. My condolences to Debbie, Christine, and family.

Dear Deb and Christine, so very sorry for your loss. I have such great memories of growing up with you and Skip. We would talk about how lucky we were to grow up in such a great neighborhood/town. Please, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
