Manuel Neglerio & Family:

The Mejares' family want to share two memorable pieces that left a lasting impression on us. 

Regarding the first piece - in 2006 my mother, Epifania Garcia Mejares was authorized by her oncologist to travel to the Philippines as her breast cancer was in remission.  As you're aware my mother was an RN, so she know about breast cancer based upon her experiences. Anyway, before she took her final international trip from Los Angeles to Manila she requested that her sister fly and meet in San Diego. So on that eventful day, one couple came to my parent's home in San Diego to wish them a safe and hopeful return trip. And guess who came. Yes, Dr. Grace Soto Neglerio accompanied by her loving husband Manuel Neglerio. I remember my parents' faces, happy to see someone wish them a safe trip.

Regarding the second piece - in 2011 my father, Froilan Pacardo Mejares was in the hospital due to kidney problems and overall decline in health. My father was on dialysis for a number of years.
There was one individual who came to visit my father in the hospital on more than one occasion. Yes, Dr. Grace Neglerio Soto. My father absolutely adored her. She was one of the few individuals who could soothe a difficult man - as you know my father had a gruff exterior and kept that gruffness  until he truly  was able to know your values. 

So Dr. Grace Neglerio Soto, we are truly appreciative  and express our gratitude with respect concerning both of my parents - Froilan Pacardo Mejares and Epifania Garcia Mejares. May your Rest in Peace with Jesus and all the Saints who have done the will of our Lord and Savior throughout the ages.
