Ms. Evelyn ( Mom)

Although our time together was brief, it was truly an honor and a blessing to have known you. From the very beginning, you welcomed me with kindness, warmth, and an open heart. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to experience even a small glimpse of your love, your beautiful smile, and your caring spirit.

One of the most precious gifts you gave me was the simple but meaningful privilege of calling you “Mom.” Although we had only known each other for a short time, you made me feel welcomed, accepted, and embraced as family. That small gesture meant more to me than words could ever express, and it is something I will always hold close to my heart.

As Steve and I continue to build our future together, I feel especially blessed to have had the opportunity to know the woman who gave life to the man I love.

Through him, I see reflections of your love, strength, and the values you instilled in him. Although I wish we had been given more time together, I am grateful that our paths crossed and that I had the opportunity to share in your life.

I will forever cherish our conversations, the memories you shared, your smile, and the love and pride you expressed for your family. You may have only been a part of my life for a short time, but you left a lasting imprint on my heart.

Sometimes, it is not the length of time we know someone, but the love and kindness they show us that leave the greatest impression.

You will truly be missed, but never forgotten
Your love and legacy will continue to live on through Steve and Stephanie along with everyone whose life you touched.

Rest peacefully in God’s loving arms.

With love and gratitude.

Tiffany

To the family of Evelyn C. Porter. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom. Evelyn had become a true and dear friend of mine from the time I joined the Elks. I enjoyed the many trips of going to PSA conventions together especially when she would be driving, making me nervous because of how fast she would be driving, the planes when I would be talking to her only to realize she was sleep, etc. lol. I will truly miss her and her beautiful smile.

Stevie and Stephanie, am so sorry for the loss of your mom and my life long friend from Steel street .Evelyn was a true friend that I will never forget eventhough I moved to Alabama in 1975 there was some communication.
                   With sincere sympathy ,
                                          Marion Collins Giles
