Gabriela R. Simas September 26, 1938 - May 12, 2016 San Diego Gabriela R. Simas passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was born on September 26, 1938 in Pico, Azores. She and her husband moved the family to San Diego in 1967, and she has been a resident of Point Loma ever since. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who shared many memories with all. Gabriela was preceded in death by her beloved husband Manuel G Simas (2004) and is survived by her children Luis Simas (Carlota), Raymond Simas (Karl), Maria Schaniel (Terry). Four grandchildren: Jenessa, Jacob, Travis and Luis Carlos.
