Geoffrey was a dearly loved son, husband, father and friend. Born in Chicago, Illinois July 19, 1943. The son of James Armstrong Haines of Chicago, Illinois, and Martha (Bettina) Elizabeth Goodman, Marysville, California.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cynthia. His son Scott Andrew, sister-in-law Mrs. Gail Brow, of Porter Ranch, California and one niece and one nephew, Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Chin, Simi Valley, California, James Brow of Los Angeles, California. Close friends William Luden, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Paul Dillingham, El Cajon and Scott McDonald, Los Angeles were very much a part of his live.
Geoffrey was a Senior Accountant for Swinerton Builder, San Francisco, California for 35 years. Prior to working for Swinerton, Geoffrey pursued a theatre and movie making career in Los Angeles.
Between 1961 and 1964 he served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Geoffrey loved photography, theatre production, motion pictures, and working with horses with his son Scott.
