George Ray R Hill

Born November 21, 1921, in San Diego, Ca, he lived in Spring Valley and El Cajon. He was married to Ethel Hill for 58 years. He served as a mechanic in the U.S. Army from April 1944 to November of 1945. He started National Spring and Brake in 1947 until retiring in 1977. Ray was a Deacon and served in other various capacities at Shadow Mountain Community Church.

Survivors include His daughter Rae Joy, grandchildren-Anthony, Stephen and David Hill, Debra Gibson, Melissa James, Holly, Emily, Robert and Scott Guthrie, ten great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, brothers Gilbert and Fred Hill, his children Stanley, Steven and Nancy Lee Hill.
