I met Geronimo at RB High through mutual friends. I remember as a freshman new to campus, Jeng was the guy that was so effortlessly cool, popular, handsome, the tall Filipino guy that would walk around with a cigarette tucked behind his ear, the one that everyone was friends with. He was the life of the party.  He could literally talk to anyone, even strangers and just start up a conversation. He was fearless. He was direct and stubborn,  and funny in an endearing way. My senior year of high school, I was fortunate enough to go to prom with him, just as friends, and he was always a perfect gentleman. We lost touch over the years, as life happens, but I’ve always wished him well because he was truly a good person who cares for others. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends who carry the weight of so much love for him. May he rest in Paradise. I am sad you are gone Jeng, you will be missed. 

Jeng always knew how to bring a smile to your face.  There was never a dull moment when Jeng was around.  We were the “Jeng and Jing” tandem!  Many will say he was the life of the party but, Jeng was more than that.  Jeng, was a light in our our lives.  I have countless memories with him and they will all be cherished.  Til we meet again brother.  I love you.  Rest In Peace.  

I have known Geronimo since kindergarten at Mason Elementary School in Mira Mesa, he was the "cool" first grader that we all wanted be like. haha  Little did I know our families known each so later in life the cool guy at school became my cool big bro.  We weren't the best teenagers growing up, but there were a lot of times Geronimo kept me away from trouble and always taught me not to make the same mistakes we all made growing up.   I'll miss you a lot big bro and I regret not being able to hang out with you more often, you helped me make better decisions in life and taught me how to be a big brother to my brother and sister.
