I met Gilbert some 40 years ago as a newly extended member of the family. We played Chinese checkers frequently and I found out that he was an extremely able player, probably the best player I ever was acquainted with. It took some time before I was able to compete at his level. He used his work-working skills to make a wonderful wooden Chinese checker board which I still have to this day. My wife, Angie, and I always remembered Gilbert in our nightly prayers. We still pray that Gilbert has peace now with Our Lord, Jesus. Working on various puzzles (crosswords, Sudoku, and word jumbles) in my case, is something that Gilbert and I had in common. May Gilbert's family and us join him when the Lord calls each one of us home.
