Gilberto Caracena Porsuelo

GILBERTO C. PORSUELO, 54 Gilberto “Bing” Porsuelo passed away at his home in San Diego on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the age of 54. His parents, Gregorio and Leonor Porsuelo, predecease Bing. Bing is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Gemma. They were married in the Philippines on June 18, 1990. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Gemma; son Gilbert Dean; siblings: Gregorio Jr., Oscar, Godofredo, Gerardo and Luzcel; loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Bing was born in Baguio City, Philippines on October 19, 1961. He graduated from Notre Dame of Polomolok and continued on to receive a degree in Agriculture from Central Philippine University. He came to the United States in 1992; enlisted in the US Navy (1994-1998). He then went on join the Kaiser Permanente organization where he was medically retired. He enjoyed photography, travel and exploring, movies, basketball and spending time his family and friends. His family and friends knew him as a kind, loving and gentle soul. Visitation will be held at 4:00-8:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2015 at El Camino Memorial Park. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Father Donald Coleman will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Miramar National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by El Camino Memorial.
