Gladys Ramirez

Gladys Ramirez passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2026, at age 94, surrounded by her loving family and pets.

She leaves behind her son, Luis Ramirez; her daughter-in-law, Nathalie Lesch-Ramirez; and her grandchildren, Charlie, Elliott, and Mia Ramirez.

Born in San Rafael, Costa Rica, Gladys married her childhood sweetheart, Carlos Luis Ramirez. She loved exploring the world—starting with her travels in the 1950s—and kept making friends wherever she went throughout her life.

Gladys cherished her heritage, her family, and her faith. Always ready to lend a hand, she served as a Eucharistic Minister for more than 40 years, most recently at Good Shepherd Parish. Even just a few months ago, despite her own physical challenges, she was still eager to bring communion to those who couldn’t leave home. To the very end, she looked for ways to serve others.
