

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Esther Guerrero; two children, Leticia Guerrero-Mack, Andrew Guerrero; Son-in-Law, Antonio Mack; sister, Gloria Rodriguez; brother, Angel Guerrero; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Concepcion and
Guadalupe R. Guerrero of Chula Vista, CA; brothers and sisters, Fernando Roman, Frank Roman, Manuel Roman and Margaret Martinez.
Jr was born on November 12, 1948 in San Diego, CA and grew up in National City, CA for a short period of time until his parents moved to
Chula Vista, CA. He completed his education and worked as a dishwasher at Hamilton's Restaurant in downtown San Diego. He married his childhood friend whom were introduced by their parents. He then worked at General Dynamics for short time before starting his career with the City of San Diego at Metropolitan Transit Systems (aka San Diego Transit). He started in the maintenance department before becoming a bus driver. He worked for the City of San Diego for 35 years before retiring making many good friends along the way.
Jr loved music and dancing. Music was in his heart. He loved listening to his Oldies But Goodies, deejaying for family and friends, singing Karaoke, having family gatherings, playing the bongo drums and congas. He loved traveling and camping. He also loved going to Classic Car shows, working on cars, and helping others with their home projects.
He was a welcoming, loving, supportive and giving man. He was proud of his heritage and family. He will forever be remembered through music.
