I couldn't utter up the strength to get up to speak, but I want to leave this here. I remember the day when Ray came by the house and told my baby I'm your PaPa when Quez said "you not my PaPa my Papa name Grif (he couldn't get the p)", we all saw how proud you were and I knew then you loved us with all of you. Sorry my heart wouldn't let me see him go into that wall because I would never hear "my baby girl" again!! I just want to thank you for loving me and know I will always love you.

To the Griffis family! My family!

I send my sincere condolences to you for the passing of one heck of a man, Harold Griffis Jr. aka "GRIP" the no limit soldier. He was just that. A loveable man who lived life on his terms whether you agreed or not. A man who welcomed and enjoyed the journey of the unknown and conquered his fears. I thank GOD for the opportunity to have met such a courageous man who taught a lot by his presence. Rest in Paradise Soldier. You had to go but the memory of you will live on forever.

On behalf of the Robinson Family
We would like to extend our condolences to the Griffis Family our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Grip was all the above when it came to being a friend, uncle, mentor etc. A part of me wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't us crossing paths early in life. I can honestly say you lived your life to the fullest and did exactly what you wanted to do. May we meet again my brother. Now you can finally Rest In Peace❤❤..

We the gratuating class of 1974 Paris High School in Paris Texas do indeed offer our sincere condolences to the Harold L Griffis Jr (Grip) family. You have not a loss but great memories of the one Our Maker has shared with you as well as with us. Someone has to go before us to pave the way to stretch out a forecoming hand when we cross over to our next path. Here in your case, this year alone God has chosen two members of your family to do as such.
God the all knowing God, knows you're berieved right now. He also knows, with His help, you will be abiding in his care and he wants you all to place your emotional hearts in his hands. He will get you through this by walking with Him.
Our Classmates have the mourning of a Brother which we have fond memories of also. We are realizing we won't get to see Grip in Paris Texas at the class Reunion this year. However we do realize, he will abide with us in spirit.
May God's Grace carry your family through this endeavoring time and bring everyone closer together.
We will indeed light another candle this year in memory of another Brother,, Gone But Never Forgotten.
Blessings to your entire family and Grip Will Rest In Peace.

Wow, I still can't believe it. Grip was so filled with life and I remember he was always happy. I remember when I move to Austin he helped me get around and I was from the country, so the city was all new to me, but he didn't mind and I will always remember his generosity. Rest easy sir. Prayers for the family.❤
