Yes we argued so much, you calling me kid to me calling you an old woman and trying to embarrass you infront of the beer vendors. But no matter what, I can't and won't ever forget the memories we have. You are truly missed and irreplaceable. Nobody will ever fill your spot in night crew!!! Holly.... its been a pleasure to know you and worked with you for the last 2 years since i moved from los angeles to san Diego.We already miss you every single night at Ralphs #207 waiting to see you  around breakind down the load like a normal day but we are glad that you're in a better place in heaven.....I MISS YOUR SMILE

I have a lot of great memories with you, Holly.  We were best friends through a lot of elementary school and I am so sorry that we didn't keep in better touch after that.  It would have been so nice to get to know who you were as an adult.  In elementary school, you were in my primary group of friends.  Some people would move away, join the group, move in... but you were always there.  I know that I took that for granted at times.  We were always next to each other with our class numbers (Barnes and Benderman), in the same class from kindergarten to sixth grade, and in the same Girl Scout troop.  I remember wanting to play Sega with you at your house because I didn't have any video games at mine.  Other times we played Barbies and tried to avoid our little sisters.  We fought like sisters sometimes  in fact, I think we got in a wrestling fight on the playground once.  I don't remember exactly what started it, but I know our friend group was changing and neither of us wanted to stop being friends with each other.  We were both pretty stubborn, but somehow we worked.  I have a lot of random memories of the two of us and there is definitely a theme to them.  No matter what, you were one of the most loyal friends I've ever had.  Thinking back on it, I probably learned a lot about being a friend from you.  The picture I am attaching to this note was probably one of the last times we saw each other  at our sixth grade graduation.  Don't worry; I wasn't going to put up the picture of us singing I'm a tree at the Fremont Arbor Day celebration!  I was so sorry when I heard about your passing.  I'm sending thoughts and many, many hugs to your family.  Love you!

Hello, everyone! My name is Tiffaney Sharman (Brewster) and I am unable to attend the services. I wanted to sign the guestbook with some stories of how Holly will always be with me. I met Holly in PE class of our freshman year in high school. At that time, I was just looking for a friendly face to talk to and she was on my radar. After introductions and pleasantries, we just sort of clicked and then we also realized we were in the same math class as well. As we were becoming friends, we decided to share a spiral notebook and each day we would write something in it describing how life was going for us. Essentially passing notes, just within the notebook. I still have that notebook to this day and I will cherish it forever because that is a look back on our thoughts as adolescents. When, Holly invited me to go with her and her family to Disneyland, that was a blast and I will always cherish the day we spent there. Plus, Ms. Denise was awesome for letting us listen to Linkin Park for the entire trip to and home. Freshman year turned into Sophomore year, Sophomore year turned into Junior Year and Junior Year turned into Senior year. Our friendship was your basic BFF circle in high school. We weren't popular but we knew people. We were always in the advance classes. We shared moments of triumph, heartbreak, and fun! Mostly fun! Holly was as loyal of a friend as they come by. She would stick by you even though you were wrong on some occasions and then after all was said and done she would get you alone and say, "you know, you were really wrong but, I'm going to stick by you." She was feisty too! She did not like when she was wrong but would bitterly admit defeat. She loved with her whole heart and once you were a part of her life she would never forget about you. As High school ended, we did little to keep in touch but by checking up on each other either on myspace or Facebook. I saw her briefly when I came back to San Diego for vacation and she was telling me about what was new in her life. Holly was a part of my teenaged life for four years and there are way too many moments to write about. 
To her family, Holly was an incredible person, thank you for raising such a sweet, honest, loyal, and fun-loving young lady. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. I like to think that she will be reading my thoughts and shaking her head at all my grammatical errors. Holly, I was never the journalist... you are and always will be. I love you, Holly!

Holly, Denise, Kelly and family, we are so sorry to hear about this.  Holly was such a dear friend to Courtney, and many memories of Fremont involve you and Holly.  Our thoughts, prayers, and love to all.
