Homero Seyde

Homero served in the United States Army, during the Korean War as a light vehicle driver where he transported the Generals of the Army to strategic locations. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and as a Corporal stationed in Germany, he earned the Army Occupational Medal. After his military service, Homero returned to San Diego where he met his wife, and life partner, Susie. He worked tirelessly for many years to provide a loving home where his family and extended family would gather for celebrations and holidays.

Homero is survived by his loving wife, Catherine “Susie” Seyde. Homero was a dedicated father to his daughters: Patricia; Veronica; Loretta; and Rebecca and his son, David. He is also survived by three sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law. Homero was a proud “Papo” to his grandchildren: Veronica; Michael; Angelina; Camille; Chloe; Daniel; and Alexander and his great-grandchildren.
