Hsiu Lan Chang Wang, 100, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday April 27, 2021.

She was born prematurely at six months on June 1, 1920 in China. She grew up in China and was in charge of her father's business till she married at the age of 22 to Han Shu Wang. They were married for 60 years, until his death in 2002. They both believed Jesus as their savior.

Wang went through World War II and China Civil War. Her husband was an Army colonel. In 1947, before Chinese Communist Party took control of China, she and her husband left China and went to Taiwan, which is the Republic of China. There they raised their five children. She was a woman with great courage and wisdom, but most of all, she was a woman with a tender, loving heart!

After her five children finished college in Taiwan, they all moved to the United States. In 1986, she left her home in Taiwan and moved to San Diego, California to be with her children. She was well loved by her sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, and great grandkids and all the in-laws.

She is survived by her sons and daughters and their spouses, John, Simon, Fay, Martha, Anna, Louis, Larry, Grace, Noel and Linda; and her sixteen grandchildren and their spouses; and her two great grandsons and three great granddaughters.

A service will take place at El Camino Memorial on Saturday May 8, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. with the burial immediately following.
