I had the privilege of training Hunter for the last 15 years. I always looked forward to our workouts and the most wonderful conversations we shared over the years. One thing that stood out to me was how much loved and admired his niece and nephew. It was clear how much they meant to him. I am deeply saddened by his unexpected passing and will truly miss him. I feel fortunate to have known him, my heart goes to loved ones.

My Dear Friend Hunter- You and your charming lovable humor and good nature will be missed. I’ve not met another with your warmth for life. You will be missed.
Rest in peace.

I just learned of Hunter's death yesterday. As you can see from the photo, we've known each other since the early 1990s. With every decade, Hunter was a good friend, always outgoing and even-keeled. He'll definitely be missed by me.

Uncle Hunter you were a light in my life in every way and you did so much for me... from picking me up from school in your little red convertible, taking me fishing, coming to my baseball games, eating all the broccoli casserole at Christmas to more recently being an ear and guiding me in the right direction. You were the best Uncle and the love and memories for you will live on till we meet again one day. ❤️

Sweet man. He will be missed.
