Iraj Rastani

He was one of eight children—four girls and four boys. His father passed away at a young age, leaving his mother to care for all eight children.

Baba Iraj began working in construction early in life. He worked at successful construction companies, and soon became well known in his field in Iran.

He was always hardworking and honest – a man of principle. And through dedication to his craft, he steadily advanced through the ranks in his profession.

He married our mother, Mahin, in 1957, and together they had 3 children – Kasra (Suzi), Shiva (Freidoon) and Gilda.

He was the best husband to our mother, best father to us, and best grandfather to his grandchildren: Kimia (Tommy), Armand, Ariana, Sepehr and Suri, and great-grandfather to Liam and Ariana.

He always tried to enjoy life and had a joyful, positive spirit.

Since his passing, we have received many kind messages from our family and friends. A common theme among them is that he was a sweet and kind man to everyone.

We will miss him dearly, and we will always remember him.
