Jackie was one of the First Ladies I met when I moved to San Diego. I was just learning how to play tennis and she was kind enough to play with me. I was very grateful for her doing so . Later we were to play bridge  at the club. Of course she could also play that much better than I could, but , was always so gracious and generous in spirit with this as with everything .She did. 
Jackie always had a smile for everyone. 
I will always remember her warmth and generous nature. She will be missed. 

Dear Family,
Many of us have had the good fortune of knowing Jackie at the San Diego Tennis Club. She was always so much fun to be with as she was charming, caring,  and always beautifully attired.  We had many good tennis games together and she always cared about her friends. 
She will be greatly missed.
