This photo of my mom and two of her younger brothers, Jim and Dan, is one of my favorites. All four siblings were different and extraordinary. Our Uncle Jim was so engaging, warm, funny and wise. I am grateful for all the support he showed our family over the years. I loved him very much.

In all my life from childhood thru senior I have always reached out to my Uncle Jim as advice well needed. In so many times he guided me in decisions I needed help with. Looking back I wish I'd have been more accepting, for I've made some moves I wish I could redo, those my 'second father' advised me to look at more closely. You will always be in my everyday life, my wise Uncle, and I will never forget all you've been to me. My love, always and forever,,,,,

A birthday or a holiday never passed without a loving note from Uncle Jim. I always looked forward to hearing from him. It's a comfort to know he's with his brothers, sister, and parents, having a laugh!
