From the other side of the country, I have been thinking of and praying for you all much in these last few days/weeks.  What a long journey you have taken so faithfully together with your wife/mom!  You have loved Aunt Jeannette so well.  It was beautiful to watch each of you honor and care for her over these years especially you, Uncle Steve.  I don't know how you did it (and with such grace and joy).  

I know that Jesus promised us that He would never leave nor forsake us.  And in the brief visits I've had with you all in this last season of her life, you have helped me see the truth of our Savior's commitment.  Thank you for faithfully pointing to Jesus through your lives during this most painful time.  

Of course it is great comfort to know that Jeannette is with Jesus and Granny (and so many others) having a wonderful time.  Maybe they are taking Muffett and Mr. K and many other animals for a walk.  They might be sitting all day in their nightgowns chatting.  Drinking orange juliuses.  Working a puzzle.  Reading a book aloud.  Certainly they are singing and reveling in the joy of being Home! I do look forward to us all joining them some day.

Praying for Pastor Steve and family during these trying times. Jan is more than just a friend to me, I love her as a sister, such a talented, loving and kind person.

What a special lady ready to get her special reward from our savior. My prays are with you and your family.

Jan was a beautiful lady inside and out our love and prayers are with Pastor Steve and family

I attended La Mesa First Assembly in La Mesa, CA where Steve and Jan were Assiciate Pastors for many years.  I had the privilege to be a SS teacher in Jan's dept as well as stand next to her in choir. Oh, how I loved to hear her sing. One Christmas I gave her a little box of Christmas cookies.  A few weeks later she returned the box so I could fill it next year.  We traded that little box for a few years.  Such great memories!  She was a dear friend, a wonderful Christian woman I looked up to.  She will be greatly missed...but I will see her again around God's throne....What a day that will be!!

Jeannette taught me a lot about being a woman of God. She was always so sweet and always had a smile on her face. I loved doing kids camp with her and Pastor Steve. She will be greatly missed.

It's hard to put into words what this wonderful lady meant to me. She was often my shelter in the time of storms in my youth. She was always a kind and wise counsel and would ever so gently lead me back to the one who paid the price for my salvation. Pastor Steve, Jeanette and their three beautiful daughters, Karen, Judy and Suzanne blessed our Assembly of God Church in Lindsay California in ways that can't be measured by ordinary standards. Dennis and I send our deepest condolences and look forward to celebrating her life with your beautiful family and friends.

She was a beautiful person and an amazing woman of God so blessed to have known her.  The love she had for her family and those around her was evident each and every day.  She helped me grow as a Sunday School teacher and I will forever be grateful. She will be missed.
