

Born in Brooklyn NY to Jose Olivo Sr. and Milagros Rosario where he lived until he graduated high school then he went to ITT technical school in Boston MA before entering the Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton and decided to stay in San Diego County for over 43 years.
Jose married his high school sweetheart Emily Rivera and welcomed two beautiful children Jose Olivo III and Vanessa E, Olivo (V). Jose lived life to the fullest he was an avid collector of Funko Pops, a huge Raiders fan. He enjoyed playing pool and bowling. He also enjoyed a variety of music, loved cars, The Yankees, movies, video games, and pinball machines. Jose collected a variety of things he thought were awesome.
Jose was well known for always dressing up and smelling good. He was always on time and a man of his word. Jose was known for making people laugh though he could appear tougher and intimidating those who knew him knew him as a loving kind funny and generous man. He was a loyal friend. Jose never let anyone tell him what he could and could not do he remained true to himself and loved deeply and lived boldly his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched in his honor may we continue to live life fully love fiercely and stand up for what we believe in.
