Born and raised in Mahanoy City, PA, he subsequently joined the army and became a U.S. Army Veteran. Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and had a long career in accounting, primarily as CFO to multiple companies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph G. and Mary Millard Post; sister, Beth Ann Brown and son, Joseph D. Post.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Post; 3 children, Kathe Post (Mel) of Raleigh, NC, Laurie Post of San Diego, CA, and Patricia Hooton (Scott) of Southwest Ranches, FL; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held Wednesday, April 29th, 11:15am to 1:00pm at El Cajon Mortuary, 684 S. Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA
Funeral will be at 2:15pm at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr., San Diego, CA
