Karla Rhoads, age 97, of San Diego, California passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019. Karla was born March 1, 1921 in Hamburg, Germany to Frieda Jantzen and Fredrick Jantzen.

Karla is survived by; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Rhoads; granddaughter Samantha Rhoads, grandson Michael Rhoads and grandson Christopher Rhoads.

Karla was preceded in death by; son Dean Rhoads; father Fredrick Jantzen, mother Frieda Jantzen, and a sister.

A celebration of life for Karla will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Beardsley-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1818 Sunset Cliffs Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107.
