

He is survived by his children Vicki (David) Sonsteng, Greg (Christine) Neas, grandchildren; Amber (Adam) D’Alvia, Ashley (Kevin) Schrage, Brett (Allyson) Neas, Erica (Jon) Ramsey, Bradley (Maddison) Neas, and 5 great grandchildren; Carter, Hudson, Presley, Ava, and Paige. He was preceded in death by his wife Jo Ann.
Keith and his wife Jo Ann moved to San Diego in 1959 after Keith returned from serving in the Army during the Korean War where he was positioned near the DMZ for his entire deployment of 18 months.
He started his career with General Dynamics in 1959 as an electronics engineer and finished his career as a senior auditor in the quality assurance program.
Keith was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and held many positions within the Church. It was at the Church where he met Charlene and they spent over 20 years together enjoying life.
Keith believed in helping others in need and donated to multiple charities over the years.
He volunteered to help out at his children’s school events when they were young. He enjoyed coaching Little League and Senior League baseball. Keith was an avid sports fan; attending numerous San Diego Padres and Charger games throughout his life.
Keith loved to travel and he did a lot of it throughout his lifetime. He also enjoyed sailing, skiing, and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities.
Family meant everything to Keith. He absolutely loved spending time with his family, whether it was just hanging out and watching a game, or celebrating a special occasion.
