

Ken was born on March 31, 1917, in New Providence, Iowa. He came to California in 1941 to work at Convair, building airplanes for the war. After World War II, he started a produce company in downtown San Diego selling tomatoes. After many years in the produce business, he retired and spent the rest of his life working in the yard, flying his plane, helping others and enjoying his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, and survived by his many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Greenwood Mortuary. Services will be held in Salli Lynn Chapel on Thursday, May 20th, at 2:00 p.m.
