

Kevin Foley, a beloved resident of Coronado, California, passed away peacefully on the Solemnity of All Saints, November 1, 2024, just days before his 82nd birthday. Born on November 12, 1942, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Kevin’s life was defined by faith, service, and deep devotion to family and community.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a dedicated retiree from the FBI, Kevin lived by the principles of fidelity, integrity, and honor. His career exemplified these values, but he carried them beyond his work into every corner of his life.
In Coronado, Kevin found a vibrant, welcoming community. He embraced the natural beauty of the area, spending his days cycling along the Silver Strand, swimming in the municipal pool and bay, and finding solace at daily Communion Service. Kevin’s Catholic faith was his compass, and his warm, joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His gratitude for life’s blessings shone through in all he did.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Mary (McConahey of Concordia, Kansas); his six children, Sean Foley, Ann Bond, Tim Foley, Cary Gould, Ryan Foley, and Brady Foley; his sisters, Kathy Murray, Maureen McCloskey, and Sharon Foley; 16 cherished grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he leaves them with a legacy rooted in love, faith, and generosity. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, William and Theresa Foley, and his brothers, Edward and William Foley.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Kevin’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coronado, California. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations to Casa de los Pobres USA – House of the Poor in Tijuana, a cause close to Kevin’s heart.
Kevin will be remembered with deep affection as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. His kindness, faith, and spirit of gratitude will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory is a blessing, and his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched.
