Always remembering that beautiful boy that came to me on 11/11/61.  I entered him in a baby contest in Santa Rosa, Ca when he was a year old and he won.  The certificate we got said 99%.  In his adult years he would say, " what was wrong with the other percent?"  Well nothing , you were perfect honey and you have left a hole that cannot be filled in my heart. I remember you and I going to the Hall of Fame when Ricky Henderson was inducted.................what a special week for a mother and son to share.  The memories go on and on, you were such a fine young man in every way and I could not be more proud.  Your Mom loves and talks with you everyday.........................until we meet again my son.   Mom ..........xo, I will visit your memorial as often as I can, but I have my own for you at home.

Kevin was like a brother and a great friend to me.  Baseball has lost a wonderful man.  I shall always cherish the times we were able to spend together, both in San Diego and at the Diamondback's spring training facility in Arizona.  

RIP, Kevin. Thank You, God, for giving Kevin to us.

To the Towers family,
     We want to send our condolences on the passing of Kevin last week. Although we only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, we are forever grateful for the opportunity which he gave to our son, Tim Stauffer in 2003, to play for a team which gave Tim the chance to have his " dream come true." Tim admired Kevin so very much and in these past 15 years ,Tim had only wonderful things to say about him. Tim had the blessing of being a Padre for almost 12 years and for this, we are so very grateful. A quality organization with quality individuals.. especially, people like Kevin. We ask the Lord to bless your family and keep you in His loving care. Becky teaches in a Catholic School and so, has your family's name on her Prayer Board. Please know that the prayers of many little ones are with you each day and we know that those prayers go right to Heaven. Earth has truly lost a beautiful soul, but Heaven has truly gained one. God bless you and know that Kevin changed the life of many...especially one young man from Upstate New York who dreamed of being a baseball player and fulfilled that dream because of wonderful people like Kevin. While us friends are grieving feeling the loss and knowing there won't be another glorious memory made, we have a treasure trove of great memories to smile on and be thankful for.  Kevin was a rare individual, that as for me and I'm sure many more teammates and associates some of our best memories from the game were made and shared with K.T.  You will be missed my brother! We lost a heck of a guy the other day. As good of a baseball man he was,  he was twice that, as a fun loving man. From the times in Charleston SC to Vegas to San Diego a day with KT in it was a happy day. I knew KT when we had nothing but the game to play itself and I can tell you he never changed when success came. With great love and admiration for you and what you meant to all of us you will be missed my friend. My condolences and prayers go out to the family members.

This came as a shock.   Kevin was a fan's manager.   Remembering teaching him to ride his Indian with Bochy and a few of the guys.  He repaid that back in spades,  and always took time to say hello when we saw each other over the years in San Diego or Phoenix.  My condolences to the family.   He will be fondly remembered.

My condolences Kevin played Little League Baseball & Pop Warner Football in Sonoma, CA with my son. I often gave him rides home from games. He was wonderful youngster well liked by everyone!
