Cuzzo words cant express the emotions coming over me right now. You have done the virtually impossible and have me quiet and withdrawn. I cant believe Im not gonna get that inbox or text message where we would sit there and laugh about what was said and you telling me Im crazy (although you agreed 99.98639% of the time) ummm hmmm. You are more than my cuzzo but my friend, the woman who birthed 2 of the most beautiful young ladies ever to walk this earth, the woman who always found a way to come through when I came to town, the person who's loyalty is unwaivering. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to say you are my cuzzo, my friend.  Rest assured knowing you did a great job raising the girls, Bri n Lauren are truly beautiful young women. I love you cuzzo 💖💖💖💖

Leah , I Love you with all of my heart. You are a very special Daughter who would make any Father proud. Your smile always brought me happiness. Your love for life warmed my heart. I will miss the times we had playing games and making food. From a teenage girl to an adult woman you have made me happy that you are part of my life. I will miss you and love you for the rest of my life. Peace be with my darling daughter. And yes I am happy for the picture.

I realize our relationship, through the years, has always been forever changing like the landscape of this world; with glorious peaks and desolate deserts... I love you, Leah. You always made me smile and always had my back. At family gatherings you were the first with arms wide open waiting to claim one of my babies. My boys LOVED YOU. Yes, they always started kicking and crying . But, in no time, you had them boys laughing and giggling. You were like the baby whisperer. I knew you were a great mom.  I loved being around you. You were just so easy to talk to.  So, this aint a goodbye, but a, I'll see you later. Until then, I'm keeping you in my heart. I love you Leah thank you for all the smiles and laughter we shared. I will forever remember your constant kindness.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and the family as a whole. You always put all your effort in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Throughout your life you’ve showed me everything I aspire to be one day.. A strong, loving,  brave, and determined woman. Regardless what life threw at you, you always knew the best thing to do. You taught me that life goes on whether I like that or not, and to always keep my head held high during any situation. You never let me go a day without me knowing that you were proud of the person i was becoming, you were my reassurance whenever I needed it. I miss coming home to you everyday and telling you everything that happened, you understood me and always viewed things the same way I do, you always knew what to say.. YOU were my best friend. I promise to you to keep going, to not let anything knock me down, and to most of all, make you proud. 
You were the strongest person i’ve met. I think I speak for everyone when I say that the battle you put up was remarkable. You fought for so long, 6 months of you not giving up. It relieves me to know that you’re no longer in pain, and that you’re happy with all the other angels. 
Continue to watch over us, guide us through the right paths. Everything I do now is for you, Brianna and I will make you so proud of what you raised. We will continue to carry out the person you were, you will be seen through us.

I remember the day you were born.  Your eyes smiled everytime you smiled.  It warmed our hearts and soul.  You and your cousin Alicia played  everyday when we shared a duplex.   Playing in the side yard,  making mud pies.  Your daddy loved you and was so proud of you.  We all were.  We missed you when we were apart.  Facebook brought us back together.  I admired your readiness for your journey. You were so strong and in good spirts. My 6 week bronchitis kept me from visiting you which saddened me. You will forever  be in my heart.  I love you! Shine bright in heaven my niece!

First, i’m so proud of you. You were such a wonderful mom and such a loving, caring, and happy woman. You were THE strongest woman i have ever met. You were strong and happy all the way to the end. I appreciate you and i’m proud to call you my mom. 

Thank you so much for being the mom and friend that you were. I hope one day when i decide to have children of my own, that i can at least be half the mom that you were. You always did everything you could to provide for me and my sister. You always put us first and made sure we were okay no matter what situations life threw at us. Thank you for always being my bestfriend. I have always been able to come to you and talk to you about anything with no judgment, and you would give me the best advice. You were always there for me when i wanted to vent or even just talk to you about my crazy days at work. I’m so thankful for all the memories i have with you, those memories are priceless. Thank you for teaching me so much. I always looked up to you for being such a strong, beautiful and independent woman and you showed me how to be that. You were confident, and fearless and i’m so blessed to have been raised by a woman like you. I’m so grateful i was able to call you my mom. I will forever miss you and your beautiful smile & laughs  and your hugs. I know you are watching over us, so please continue to do so and continue to be Lauren & I’s guardian angel. I promise to do everything i can to protect her and motivate her for the rest of my life and get her to where she needs to be. ✨Dearest my childhood friend Leah Marie, 

I’m honored to know you, one of my childhood friend, Leah Marie since Lafayette Elementary. One of my favorite memories was 6th grade camp we went together in 1992. We went to Kroc Middle School together as well as we created a lot of memories with our Deaf friends. We also went to Deaf Lions Wilderness camp in 1993 and 1994. Then, we went to Madison High together as well. We went to ASB ball dance together in 1996 and it was one of greatest memories I had with you.. we graduated Class of 1998. After entering real world, my husband Jason and I still hung out with you and Joe. I remember you being pregnant with both beautiful girls Brianna and Lauren plus your son Josh.  I have met your girls Brianna and Lauren when they were young. No matter what we drift  in different paths and remain in touch by social media- Facebook. My father, John worked for Hayes Bolt and he does some deliveries to your job site last year or two.. My father told me that he met you at your job site and it was nice to know that connection is still there. When I discovered that you were batting with a very rare cancer, I decided to join the ovarian cancer walk in September 2019. That is something I have not done before. Even from my bottom of my heart, I’m honored to be part of your final days and thank you for allowing me to be there and hug you. The last time I saw you was when Vanessa, one of our childhood friend , came down to San Diego to go with me to see you on December 10th. We talked a little, held hands, and said beautiful prayer by Vanessa until then our hugs.💕 this is not good bye, and it is see you later when I meet you again.🙏 I have arranged an interpreter for your special day and again it was my honor to be part of your journey. Memories will remain treasured forever. ❤️🤟

Leah was an awesome friend to me. We knew each other since elementary days but I never actually hang with Leah until I became a freshman at Madison. I got to know and hung out with Leah during high school years. We lost touch over the years after high school and finally we got back in touch in 2011 and we stayed in touch ever since.  I moved back to San Diego 3 years ago and I am glad I got to spend time with Leah.  We would meet up at her spot and we sit in the car and smoke blunts and just chat about everything. I wished I had came to see you sooner. I will cherish our friendship, I'm gonna miss you very much Leah 💜

My beautiful niece Leah and I always spent time together talking and catching up when I’d come to San Diego for a visit.  Such a formidable young woman who raised two wonderful daughters.  I will miss Leah so much.    🤟 lots!💝

Leah Marie Zamudio was a SPECIAL, & VERY FUN HUMAN BEING, and TOO Hood for her own Good in The FUNNEST & FUNNIEST of WAYS. We shared many moments in the past, you TALKED YO Smack TIL I COULDN'T STOP CRYING LAUGHING! You helped me get into a California Comfort Zone, overcome being homesick, and putting my divorce behind me. We had a tremendous relationship & friendship. We shared moments of being close, and losing contact off and on, but also shared alot of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE CONSISTENTLY toward one another. 
We were able to share just about everything as friends. Support, encourage, & be compassionate to each other. ONE DOWN FEMALE! To look YOU UP and AN OBITUARY to come up was just UNIMAGINABLE. I'm STILL IN SHOCK. Leah I LOVE, and CARED ABOUT YOU UNCONDITIONALLY as mentioned prior! Even though our paths went in different directions yrs ago. You EARNED your wings. I know you will look over your 2 beautiful daughters, family, & loved ones. I will continue to do my research to find out what took you from us far too soon (which I discovered a couple of days ago Thanks to your Aunt Casper)🌹. Condolences to your family., I've had the PLEASURE of meeting your Mom, StepDad, Daughters, Sister, Brother in Law, Niece, & Auntie's, Etc., I'm just so all over the place. I will FOREVER CHERISH ALL THE FUN TIMES WE SHARED TOGETHER! YOUR SPONTANEITY WAS UNDESCRIBABLE, AND A BREATHE OF FRESH AIR. A BEAUTIFUL woman both inside and out, a determined woman, a strong woman, a fighter and a WONDERFUL mother. When I first laid eyes on you we were both in elementary in the same class together when we first "liked" each other. I want to thank you for giving me the PRIVLEGE of calling you my wife and blessing me with 2 beautiful daughters. There are so many fond memories I would love to share but here are just a few.....the birth of our daughters, our marriage and our 1st tattoos together and you shaving my head bald for the first time. You are a amazing woman and even better mother. Over these past 8 months I have watched you put up a remarkable battle. Your mom and Lamont raised a remarkable woman. You have inspired me to continue my walk in faith and to be the father the girls need me to be. We might have had our up and our downs but we always maintained a relationship albeit different in some ways. When I saw you last on Dec 9th in a surprise visit with our daughters we laughed, cried and shared memories, its also when I made a promise to you, which will be kept until my last breath. I have known Leah since I was in my early twenties and now I am in my middle thirties so it has been sometime. We were good friends unfortunately I kept losing contact with her, but the most blessed thing was that we kept running into each other over and over again. This very last time I had love in my eyes and I seen so much good in her. We actually became a couple and I was so happy about it. Being with her, I wanted to do my best in supporting and working hard for her love and the family's love as well. Even though we had our ups and downs, I still loved her and always will.
