Letizenda “Leti” Fortunato Salvanera of San Diego, California passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on November 1, 1941, in the Philippines where she grew up in the town of Manaoag.
She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
Leti worked as a Registered Nurse in Waukegan, Illinois and San Diego, California.
Leti was actively involved in gardening, cooking, reading, solving crossword puzzles, and church. She loved dancing with Rudy and their group of friends that shared the same interests.
Leti is preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Trias Salvanera. Her siblings; Purita and Fermin Jr.
She is survived by their three children; Anthony, Andre, and Karen. Grandchildren; Patrick, Keira, Maximo, Sandra, and Kaleia. Great-grandchildren; Ioane and Ariella. Nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children; Nate, Mirinisa, Michelle, Chris, Theresa, Sherra, Winnie, Cindy, and all of their children. Her siblings; Artemio and his wife Noemi and Adriatico.
Visitation with the family will be at El Camino Memorial in Sorrento Valley on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 4:00-8:00pm.
Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30am.
Interment to follow at Miramar National Cemetery at 1:15pm.
