Lina Lin Beckner passed away on Monday, September 7th, 2026 at the age of 64. Lina was born on April 16, 1962 and grew up in Surabaya, Indonesia. She attended college at The University of Mataram in Indonesia where she studied business. She lived in the United States for the past 33 years, and for the past 30 years resided in Oceanside, California with her husband, Gary Beckner.
Lina worked as a postal worker for the United States Post Office, both in the Carlsbad and Oceanside offices for 12 years. She loved to shop, garden, and cook Indonesian food. She lived a life of giving and graciousness, loving her family and friends with her generous spirit. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Liem Bien Khwan and her mother, Ong le Niang. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gary Beckner, her step-daughters, Leelannee Beckner Black and Amy Shved, her brothers, Andy Mudjialim, Handojo Mudjialim, and Untung Mudjialim, her sister Anna Mudjialim, and her sister-in laws Fang Fang Mudjialim and Endah Dwipayana.
