If there was ever a person who wanted to heal all the wrongs in the world, it was Lisa Marie Griffith. She was an idealist who sought to bring harmony to those around her. Lisa was enthusiastic and generous and always found the positive in life and in the world. Lisa was a bright light that always shown through the darkness. She had a life filled with fun adventures and one overflowing with love both that she gave others and others gave back.
Lisa was raised in Redondo Beach, California with her parents Wes and Diane and brother Jeff. She was a compassionate person, a quality that she would carry with her throughout her life. While she dealt with numerous medical conditions, she never let it slow her down or limit her. In her spare time she liked video games and various creative activities. However, to Lisa, the most fun to be had was simply playing, and spending time with her many friends.
On September 15, 2007, Lisa exchanged wedding vows with Michael Howard Griffith at Flinn Springs County Park in San Diego, California. Lisa and Griff cared passionately for each other. They were co-op partners for life and had the greatest adventures together. Two halves of the same love, nothing could come between them.
Lisa enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were gaming, creative pursuits, going on adventures with Griff and streaming together as Grazing Gryphon. Lisa was active online in various communities over the years. The latest was with Starjump Guardians.
She enjoyed traveling and going away on vacations. Taking trips provided the perfect opportunity for adventure and to visit new places and see new things. Favorite vacations included numerous trips throughout the United States, beach resorts, and Disneyland.
A lover of animals, Lisa cherished her fuzzy family. Her family consisted of her husband Griff and their cats Vatani, Rainy Cakes, and Conn.
Lisa Marie Griffith was someone who was able to see the world as a good and honorable place. She viewed the people who inhabited it as essentially good. Lisa always focused on the good she saw. She was selfless and deeply committed to all things positive and good.
Lisa had a heart so big that no one thought it would ever stop beating. She touched many peoples lives, and being missed so deeply is the price for being loved so much. Lisa had amazing adventures full of love, joy and just awesomeness. While it is over way sooner than expected, it was just excellent with no bad days. She would want people to not get stuck in the moment of her loss, but to remember to expect nothing, appreciate everything, don't look for love, be love.
