Luis Ornelas Medina

Luis Ornelas Medina, of Oceanside CA, passed away on August 3rd, 2026, at the age of 47 Born on April 25th, 1979, in Tijuana, Mexico, Luis was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, and a cherished friend, and someone whose presence touched the lives of many.

Throughout his life, Luis was known for his kindness, sense of humor, hardworking nature, love of family. He enjoyed watching movies, tv shows and listening to music, and especially treasured the time spent with family and friends.

Luis is survived by Consuelo Romero - Sister, Luis P Medina - Brother, Ruben Medina - Brother, Elena Medina - Sister and Sofia Valle- Sister. He was preceded in death by Luis C. Medina - Father, Teresa Moreno - Sister and Robert Medina - Brother.

His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the love he shared with those around him.

A viewing is planned for Thursday August 27th from 4 to 8 pm at El Camino Memorial 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego CA 92121 followed by burial on Friday August 28th at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery 4050 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA 92057 at 10 am Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Luis O. Medina
