Lydia Mejia Cornel was born Feb. 28th, 1931 in Dagupan City, Philippines. She peacefully joined our Creator surrounded by people who loved her. Lydia is lovingly remembered and survived by her children: Lea (Manny) Gomez, Irma (Ian) Johnston, John (Susan) Cornel, Elsa (Art) Maliwat, Liza (Roell) Quingua, Gil Jr. (Rachel) Cornel; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; preceded in death by Eva (Greg) Imatong. Friends and family are welcomed to El Camino Memorial Park to attend the visitations on Saturday August 29th, 2015 and Sunday August 30th, 2015 from 12-5 PM each Day. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 31st, 2015 at 10 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church located at 17252 Bernardo Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92128.
