She fought her relatively short battle with cancer with grace and her sweet compassion, never wanting to burden her family.
She was born on July 25, 1936, in Mancos Colorado to Lynn Dean and Theresa Roessler. When Lynnda was 8 she moved to Long Beach Ca and then to Mission Hills, San Diego.
She married Joseph Franca in 1955 at 18 years old and had her firstborn son Steven Franca at age 19. They went on to have four more sons David ( Tanya), John (Fran) Paul and Michael ( Gretchen). She often said how very blessed she was to have "her boys".
She's survived by all 5 of her sons. Her brother Fred Van Patten, her sister Floie Van Patten Berardino.Her grandchildren Steven Franca Jr, Andrew and Jacqui Franca, Josie, Bubby, Carson Franca ,Joseph and Angela Franca. Her 3 nephews Christian, Matthew and Timothy DePhilippis.
She will be so missed as she was ALWAYS there for her family.
