

Manuel was born June 7th 1953 to Julia and Manuel Domingos. He was born on the islands of Pico, Azores. Manuel’s childhood consisted of his favorite hobby’s which included fishing, helping on the family owned fields and enjoyed listening to marching bands.
July 4th was the day the family arrived from Portugal to United States for better opportunities. First living in Northern California for seven years the family ventured to San Diego.
As a new resident in San Diego he quickly became a member of the Tuna Fishing community in Point Loma but due to injuries he had to change his work, which lead to him to working with his Parents at a Tuna Cannery .
He was a active member in the Portuguese community supporting the chapel of the Holy Spirit and the Portuguese Festas in Point Loma. He was a father figure for his younger siblings and had incredible work ethics.
Manuel Jr was preceded in death by his father, Manuel and his mother, Julia and younger brother Joe who passed as a child. He is survived by his siblings, John,Tony,Joe ,Eddie and his only sister Maria. Several cousins, nieces, and Nephews.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday June 25th 2021 In Loving Memory Of Manuel P. Domingos Jr.
The visitation for Manuel will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Goodbody Mortuary, 5027 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115. A funeral mass will occur Friday, June 25, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, CA 92102. A burial will occur at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4470 HILLTOP DR, SAN DIEGO, California 92102-3651.
