MS Margaret (Margee) Moore of San Diego, formerly of Clayton, passed away peacefully at her home in California on October 20, 2024, after a courageous ten-month battle with metastatic melanoma. Born in Watertown, NY, to Truman B. Moore and Margaret (Loveland) Moore, Margee graduated from Thousand Islands Central School in 1972 before pursuing further education at Central City Business Institute in 1973.

In August 1977, Margee relocated to sunny San Diego, California, where her professional journey continued. She initially took a position with the County of San Diego, before moving to San Diego Gas & Electric, where she contributed her talents until retirement in 2008. An energetic and go-getter at heart, Margee continued her education by earning an associate's degree in business administration from San Diego City College in 1991. Post-retirement, she channeled her vibrant energy into house and dog sitting, further highlighting her love for both animals and her community.
Margee will be fondly remembered for her endless generosity, infectious energy, and delightful sense of humor. She was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need, and her passion for gardening brought her immense joy. Described as highly organized and driven, she also had a profound love for travel and a well-known sweet tooth.
