Margarito Hernandez, 83, of San Diego died Friday. He was born in Austin, Texas and was a retired member of the San Diego & Imperial Counties Butchers’ Union Local 135.
Survivors include daughters, Rachel Hernandez of San Diego, Rosa Hernandez, Ruby Pruett and Roanna Morales all of Chula Vista and Rebeca Garcia of Rancho San Diego; sons, Reynaldo Hernandez of Chula Vista and Ruben Hernandez of San Diego. Six grandchildren, Jesse R. Garcia III of San Diego, Justin Garcia of Oahu, Hawaii and Kerena Gonzales and Brina Morales of Chula Vista, Michelle Campuzano of San Diego and Julian Ramirez of Chula Vista.
Mass: 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1770 Kearney Ave., San Diego.
Interment: After Mass, Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.
