Dear Valverde Family,

Larry and I want to express our deepest sympathies. We can't imagine the feeling of losing your precious Mother/Grandmother. She was such a beautiful lady and was always so welcoming whenever I was around her and her beautiful family. She did an excellent job of raising amazing daughters who I have had the privilege of being part of their lives. I will be forever grateful that she shared her delicious Costa Rican tamales with me. Rest in Peace sweet Maria.

I was so sadden to hear of the passing of your dear mama/abuela. There are no words that I can share other than we will keep the whole family covered in prayers for God's strength and peace. I did not know your mother personally, but I have shared 10 years of memories from Gabriela and I feel as though I know her. This picture came from one of the moments she shared with me about how they loved to dance! They are dancing again together!!! With much love and big hugs,
Viki Plowman and Family

My mother was an amazingly strong woman that dedicated her life to cultivating a united, loving family. It was because of her strength that my father became the man that we knew and loved. Together, they raised us five daughters with strong family values and morals. They took great pride in our accomplishments, no matter how big or small. They continued with their grandchildren, supporting them at every step of the way. Our continued unity throughout their years meant the world to them, and I don’t think anything made Mom happier. Now that most of the grandchildren have grown into adults, I can honestly say that she achieved her lifetime goal. We are all good people because that's exactly what Mom and Dad raised us to be. I am proud to be a part of our family. I love each and every member of our family, including our honorary members that have stuck with us throughout the years. Thank you for being so kind and loving to my mother. She felt you by her side up until her very last breath, and I know that that was exactly how she wanted to go. I love you Mom, may you rest in peace.
