Mario passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January15, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Alice, and three children, Daniel, Ronald, Mario J., and 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister Remedios (Clarita) Dublin. Proudly retired US Coast Guard- Chief Petty Officer and Retired General Dynamics Space Systems-Sr. Engineer.
Mario was always smiling and talking, sharing his love of tennis, golf, and his timeserving his country. He enjoyed his years as a golf marshal at Torrey Pines PGA golf tournament and his years of playing tennis at the Lake Murray Tennis Club. Mario loved and cherished all of his family and he will be greatly missed. He will be in our hearts forever. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
