Marion Rita Sceppe

September 29, 1925 – February 6, 2016

Spring Valley - Midge was born and raised In New York, and grew up on the shores of Staten Island. She married the love of her life Pete Sceppe on February 22, 1946. She and Pete moved to California in early 1955, with their two small children. They built a house in Spring Valley and added another child to their loving home. Midge worked as an executive secretary for Hilton Hotel’s while Pete worked for the City of La Mesa.

Pete and Midge made many life-long friends during their time here in San Diego, they were avid square dancers, an activity Midge continued for years after Pete’s passing in 1979.

Midge passed away on February 6th with her two children by her side. Our hearts are broken, and she will be greatly missed. She was loved by many as a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, care giver and friend.

She is predeceased by her husband, Pete; her son Peter; her parents and brother, Edward.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon and husband Jim; her son, Brian and wife Kelly; Daughter-in-law, Lupe; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
