

2026. Born in Chile, she will be remembered as a deeply loved mother,
grandmother, sister, tía, and friend whose kindness and devotion
touched the lives of those around her.
Marlene lived a life of service and embodied the scripture found in
Mosiah 2:17: “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are
only in the service of your God.” She will be profoundly missed, but
her memory will live on through her family, the stories they share,
and the love she leaves behind.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Miriam Casós, and her husband,
Dennis; her son, Michael Casós, and his wife, Aurelia; her sister,
Cecilia Müller; and her seven beloved grandchildren: Aden, Asher,
Andrew, Abram, Ammon, Anderson, and Enzo.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, R.J. Casós, and her
youngest daughter, Michelle Casós Beesley.
A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026,
at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at El Camino Memorial, 5600 Carroll Canyon
Road, San Diego, California 92121. A burial service will follow at
2:30 p.m., with a reception afterward until 5:30 p.m.
Those wishing to honor Marlene’s memory are welcome to send floral
tributes or contribute toward the flowers for her service. Please
