I met Martin in 2011 and immediately recognized the good in his soul..the God in his soul. My prayers go out to the family and friends that new him best.....

Martin was the brother I never had.  He was a friend for life and I will miss him deeply.  God Speed.

I'm so glad I had a chance to know Martin, he was the most peaceful, outgoing, funny, inspirational person I have ever known! He will truly be missed but never ever forgotten!

While I am sorry I cannot attend Martin's service, I am pleased to acknowledge what a wonderful, kind, caring, intelligent, and hard-working man was.  I had the honor of knowing him for over 30 years, and I know how much he loved his Lord, his family and his friends.  He truly was one of the best people God ever created.  Rest in Peace, dear Martin.  My sincere sympathy to Sarah and the rest of the family.  May God give all of you courage and strength to get through this sad loss.

Martin A. was a very close friend to my family. Our hearts are sadden on this day, but we know Martin is having a time with Jesus. Sarah & the girls, we are praying for you and know that you all are always in our hearts. Rest in Peace Martin.

Words cannot express how I feel about the the loss of Martin. I will miss his smile and words of encouragement. Thank you Sarah and the girls for sharing him with us. He was a gem  and he kept the faith and fought the fight. Martin was an awesome man of God. My heart is heavy but I know he is resting with God. No more pain.  Forever in my heart.

I am blessed to have had the opportunity to know and work with Martin.  He was a great man of God and will be missed.  I pray that the love of God and the comfort of the Holy Spirit surround the family during this time.

May God hold you close in his arms Big brother you were always there for me. You taught me a lot. Thanks Big brother those things will always be with me for ever.

Brother Martin, I am still in shock, can't believe that I won't be hearing your voice, seeing your smile, playing words with friends, or even seeing your inspirational words on FB anymore. I remember how excited you were when I said I was relocating to Philly, because your daughter was out here. Thank you for all the conversations, and letting me be a Sunday school teacher to your granddaughter, Maliyah. When my mom passed, you were so supportive, and in everything I did at NCC, you always had my back. I know you are in a better place, but I wish I could hear something inspirational from you right now. I know Mrs. Sarah, your daughters and granddaughter will make it through. Jaden and I are truly going to miss you. You will be missed but not forgotten. We love you!

Words cannot express how saddened our family has been since Martin left us to be with the Lord. A courageous and God fearing man who knew the Lord very intimately and who certainly lead by example in character and intergrity-Martin, you will surely be missed. This is not goodbye, but see you later in the "by and by". May the peace of Christ be with Sarah, the girls and the Akinfosile family during this time and always remember, as Christ's Children, be assured that we will all see each other again in Heaven. Sarah and girls, no words can fully express my condolences OR my joy.  After all Martin has made it!  God's promises have been realized by yet another Kings View Ct. dignitary.  I miss, but am soooooooo happy for him.

Thank you for the responsibility and opportunity to arrange Martin's final care.   A man who can ask you to watch over the family home and care for his dogs while out of town with his family is a brother.

He was always very, very proud of his beautiful wife and family.  He would also be very proud of the way you all are working together as a family in this trying time.  God is truly being honored.
