Mary Ellen Spinella, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 104.
Born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on December 28, 1920, Mary Ellen lived a long and fulfilling life.
In 1955, she made San Diego her home, where she and her husband, Nick Spinella, built a life together. They were married for 55 wonderful years.
Mary Ellen is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cope, her son-in-law, Steve Cope, and her granddaughter, Hillary Cope.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Spinella, her granddaughter, Kaitlin Cope, and her six siblings
Mary Ellen considered herself lucky to have lived such a long and happy life.

A graveside service for Mary will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102.
